5. In and Around Alleppey Backwaters

Romantic Houseboat and Theme Resort Coir Village.

• Day 01: Pick up from Alleppey Bus/Railway Station and transfer to the Houseboat. This will give you a well-deserved relaxation after your journey. Cruise around 6 - 8 backwater villages; watch local life style of people and their main occupations like fishing and farming. Over night stay in the Houseboat.

• Day 02: Proceed to Coir Village Lake Resort - a Backwater Island Resort with water front A/c independent cottages. On the way visit the famous Snake Temple in Mannarasala, which is one of the rare snake worshiping temples in Kerala.

Evening: Visit local village and witness the Coir weaving. Over night stay at Coir Village.

• Day 03: Morning Traditional Canoe Ride /Sunbath Cruise and transfer to Alleppey Bus/Railway Station. Journey back home with lot of fond memories in God's Own Country.
