Ingredients
Mackrel(Ayeela)
(big or medium) - 4 nos
Oil For Frying
For The marination:
Red Chilly Powder - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
Pepper Powder - 1/4 tsp (Optional)
Ginger-Garlic Paste - 1/4 tsp
Vinegar - 4 - 5 drops
Salt - As reqd
For The Stuffing:
Potatoes (boiled) - 3 - 4 nos
Pepper Powder - 1/4 tsp
Ginger-Garlic Paste - 1/4 tsp
Green chillies - 4 - 5 nos
(cut Into tiny round pieces)
Salt - As reqd
For The Garnishing:
Big Onion - 1 no
Vinegar - As reqd
Preparation Method
1)Mash the boiled potatoes and mix them along with the rest of the ingredients
reqd for stuffing.
2)Clean the fish nicely and make a straight slit in the centre (lengthwise)
so that it opens in 2 halves. Do not seperate them.
3)Make small slits on the top of the fish for the masala to get into
the flesh.
4)Stuff the fish with the smashed potato mixture and keep the sides close
together, so that the stuffing does not come out.
5)Mix all the ingredients for marinating and rub it on the fish nicely
even on the sides where the opening is.
:- Do not rub this mixture on the inside of the fish along with the stuffing.
6)Keep it aside for 10 - 15 mnts.
7)Heat a little oil in a pan.
8)Fry the fish keeping the pan closed.
Do not break the fish.
